Exhale overview
Exhale is a customizable visual prompt tool in the form of a screen overlay to facilitate breathwork practice.
Research indicates we blink less and breathe more shallowly when we are looking at screens. This minimal app is intended as a friendly indicator and reminder to continue to take full and deep breaths. As looking at screens for long periods of time is typically less than ideal, this tool is intended as a means to potentially ameliorate those negative impacts.

- When setting the same color for both inhale and exhale in fullscreen mode, the app saves CPU by avoiding unnecessary processing, allowing the app to be used to tint the screen (can be used when using AirPlay mirroring and in situations where conventional screen tints such as Night Shift and f.lux do not function)
- The background color's opacity is honored over the settings' global Opacity for the gradient edges, allowing for more visibility beyond the animated shape, making the app more subtle and less distracting by default
